During Milan Design Week, Design.nl kept viewers on top of the action with a daily live report on the exhibitions. Highlights included interviews with members of Droog Design and Maarten Baas and on-location blogging by Groene Honden, TuttoBeNe, Onomatopee and Restruimte.
Design.nl launched in November 2007 as the premier international online portal for everyone interested in the Dutch design scene. More and more visitors in the Netherlands and abroad are finding their way to the site. People all over the world are interested in Dutch design, and this English-language portal makes it accessible to more of them than ever. Users can select their favourite news and calendar items, rate them, and forward them to friends. They can stay up to date on the latest news with Design.nl's weekly digital newsletter and widget.
Along with daily news and current calendar announcements, Design.nl reports on large Dutch and foreign events. This year, these will include Amsterdam International Fashion Week, FreeDesigndom and Dutch Design Week.
