Design It Yourself/With Others

The graphic designer, writer and lecturer Ellen Lupton and members of the Autobahn team talked about what the new DIY – Design It Yourself – means to them and others at the café in Breda's Graphic Design Museum on 23 September 2011.
Ellen Lupton
Ellen Lupton is a curator of contemporary design at Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in New York and the director of the MFA course in graphic design at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, USA. She has written several books and articles about design and is a design critic and regular lecturer.
Design bureau Autobahn is all about creative concepts and bright design. Beauty is not their starting point; rather, the emphasis is on the strength of good ideas. To develop such ideas, Autobahn enters into dialogue with fellow professionals and clients. A fruitful collaboration not only leads to a convincing result but also provides inspiration and enjoyment.
Every third Friday of the month, you can work overtime at the Graphic Design Museum from 4pm on. Listen to your graphic design heroes and chat with current or future colleagues while you enjoy a snack and a drink.

This edition of Design It Yourself... With Others was organised by Premsela with the Graphic Design Museum.
