Design.nl, launched 3 years ago, informs an international public about Dutch design both nationally and internationally. It is an English language online magazine with news, an agenda and background articles. The site features design in the broadest sense of the word, from graphic design and fashion to product and new media design. Visitors to the site include journalists, designers, producers, tourists and anybody with an interest in Dutch design.
Design.nl is an initiative by Premsela.
As web editor you will produce English language content for the website. As well as using existing information sources you will also write new articles. You will be jointly responsible for the actuality and quality of the site. You will also select and edit photomaterial and work with a CMS system.
You have a journalistic background and experience with writing texts for internet. You use English at a 'native speaker' level and have a clear writing style. You should also have an interest in design and have a desire to keep up-to-date with the latest design news.
